Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Cedar Quarry Energy and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of meter readings and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing disputes.
