Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Reno, NV)

Northwind Wren Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Reno. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
