Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Clearpath Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Birmingham area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of about 252 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
