Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Juniper Foods and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of customer specifications and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
