Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Fernwood Bright Manufacturing is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
