Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Bright Vale Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Toledo and nearby communities, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
