Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Loom Early Learning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of enrolment and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
