Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Northwind Wilder Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Boston. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
