Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Amberfield Basin Banking Services is a community-focused bank in San Antonio serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of card disputes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with deposit accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
