Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Cedar Corner Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Charleston area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
