Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Bright Ember Manufacturing Group is a Richmond manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
