Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Corner Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
