Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Lumen Thistle Learning Group is an education provider in Houston serving students and families, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. Families are partners. What you will do • Model the cost of attendance records and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
