Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Silverline Kestrel Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
