Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Bright Ember Markets is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
