Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Summit Mill Civic Services supports public agencies in Providence with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of constituent requests and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
