Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Cedar Fern Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Denver, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Model the cost of cold storage and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
