Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Rivermark Corner Insurance is an insurance company in Raleigh with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 165 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
