Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Westbrook Iron Insurance Associates provides coverage to households and businesses around Sacramento. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
