Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Fernwood Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the El Paso area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of school calendars and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
