Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Greenridge Bright Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Portland area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
