Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Ironwood Rook Markets serves neighbourhoods around Houston with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of pricing and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
