Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Harborlight Rowan Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around St. Louis, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of fraud alerts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with account openings. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
