Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Ironwood Vale Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Milwaukee and nearby communities. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
