Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Westbrook Maple Insurance is an insurance company in St. Louis with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
