Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Cedar Fern Civic Services supports public agencies in Miami with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of public records and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
