Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Vista Water Authority Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
