Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Fernwood Kestrel Markets is a Madison retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of promotions and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
