Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Nova Amber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Baltimore, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of learning materials and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
