Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Amberfield Pike Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Buffalo area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
