Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Oak Transit Planning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 148 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
