Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Summit Corner Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Phoenix. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
