Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Redstone Granite Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Louisville area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
