Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Northwind Hollow Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Rochester design routes and schedules, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
