Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Northwind Meridian Energy delivers power and gas plans across the San Antonio region, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of meter readings and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
