Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

Redstone Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of accessibility audits and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
