Financial Analyst - cost modelling (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Loom Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
