Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Raleigh, NC)

Cedar Field Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Raleigh. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 144 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of treatment plant data and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
