Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Raleigh, NC)

Silverline Lakeside Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Raleigh. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of fare systems and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules.
