Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Providence, RI)

Rivermark North Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Providence. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
