Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Forge Civic Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
