Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Portland, OR)

Lumen Linden Civic Services Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on cost modelling for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
