Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Granite Water Authority and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
