Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Portland, OR)

Fernwood Cross Foods Partners produces packaged foods at its Portland plant, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of allergen controls and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
