Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath North Insurance Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
