Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Pittsburgh, PA)

Lumen Timber Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
