Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Northwind Iron Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be cost modelling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
