Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Fern Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Oakland, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of loan files and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
