Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Oakland, CA)

Redstone Juniper Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Oakland working with agencies and riders, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our cost modelling. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
