Financial Analyst - cost modelling (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Keystone Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Oakland working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on cost modelling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of accessibility audits and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
